Trigger diac devices provide control triac devices with a gate firing pulse that improves the triac performance.
Solution Description:
The HT36B is the DO-35 axial packaged device commonly used in variable speed and dimmer controls. PCB-based applications often use the surface mount DO-214 ST36B version.
