Control SCR

Protection Application:: SCRs are used to switch one polarity of AC currents. GFCI control circuit may include full-wave rectifier along with SCR for fast response and â€œDCâ€ operation of solenoid / circuit breaker.
Solution Description:: Sensitive SCR is the usual choice due to microcontroller trigger source. TO-92 (e.g. EC103D3) or 3-lead Compak (e.g. S4S3) are common package selections since the power dissipation requirement is usually very low.
